He rawe ngā kōrero. E whakaae ana ahau ki ngā kōrero e pā ana ki te meka matua te tuapapa mo te ako pāngarau. E tika ana ngā kōrero mēna he tere te tamaiti ki te whakautu meka matua kia māmā ake te mahi rautaki me ngā whenu atu o te pāngarau (so being able to instant recall basic facts helps students when it comes to doing rautaki and other strands of the marau). I like to start pāngarau with quick warm up games like round the world which is good tāpiri, whakarea or with my target group tauira we play flip the card and either have a base number to tāpiri and/or whakarea, or doubling knowledge. Tauira find these games fun and competitive all at the same time. I do feel like I lack other games options thou that are less disruptive to the class. Any suggestions will be much appreciated.
